The second round of the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season will commence on October 25, 2025, across various parts of the country. The Elite Group matches began last week, where several interesting games played out across the four groups.

Only 9 of the 32 teams in the Elite competition bagged outright wins in the opening round, with the teams facing stiff competition from the outset.
