Bengaluru braces for heavy traffic as RCB celebrates their historic IPL 2025 win on Wednesday.

As Bengaluru gears up for the grand celebration of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) after its historic win in the IPL final 2025, several areas in the city are expected to witness massive traffic snarls on Wednesday.
Commuters have been warned of significant traffic disruptions across the Central Business District (CBD). The high-voltage celebration is likely to draw an enormous crowd of cricket fans on streets. The champions will meet Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Vidhana Soudha and then head to Chinnaswamy Stadium, this evening.
The much-awaited event has prompted Bengaluru traffic police to gear up to tackle the unprecedented vehicular bottlenecks.
Traffic Snarls Expected Near Vidhan Saudha
The victory celebrations will unfold during peak evening hours, prompting traffic officials to urge locals and commuters to refrain from taking CBD routes.
Further, the Bengaluru Traffic Police also issued an advisory for people, advising them to avoids roads surrounding Vidhan Saudha and the stadium.
In order to keep traffic in check, RCB fans are encouraged to use public transport or carpooling while travelling to core areas in the city.
June 3 was a historic day for the RCB won the IPL title for the first time in 18 years, bringing joy and tears among the team members. Soon after the victory, city streets witnessed euphoric scenes, with fans brimming with overwhelming energy in several parts of the state capital, including at Indiranagar, Koramangala, MG Road, and Vijayanagar.

With the champion squad returning to their home turf today, all eyes are now on Bengaluru — both for celebration and for how the city will do crowd control. Commuters can expect delays, diversions, and an evening (to remember) ahead.
