Another day, another social media influencer has come under the radar of the people online for a rather bizarre post. Taking to her Instagram account, the creator Nimisha Verma shared that she was looking for a “like-minded woman" to co-buy an apartment with her. What surprised people more was when she mentioned that the woman “doesn’t need to stay in the apartment."
In her post, Nimisha wrote, “Looking for a like-minded woman to co-buy my apartment with me. Someone who values solitude as much as I do, has an independent life and career, and yet believes in building something stable and beautiful – an investment, a sanctuary."
Nimisha Verma Mentioned The Woman “Doesn’t Need To Stay" In The Apartment
As she is on the go most of the time, the influencer mentioned that she would love to find a woman who has the “emotional and mental bandwidth to nurture a space, and who also wants to put her money into something real – a home that’s ours, where we can come back to recharge, write, dream, and rest between travels."
In the next story, Nimisha mentioned, “She doesn’t need to stay in the apartment; she can just invest in it as her backup home, which I believe most women need in today’s time."

Internet Pointed Out How Nimisha Verma Was Scammed By Her Ex-Husband And Friends
People on the Internet found her proposition bizarre. One Reddit user shared her post on the platform, writing, “This might be the most insanely dumb s–t or most insanely clever scam I have ever seen. I swear no one can make this up!" The user also explained how inviting total strangers from the Internet could backfire on her, highlighting how Nimisha has previously opened up about certain incidents where she was scammed.
“As per her iske ex-husband ne 2 saal mei isko 50 lakh ka chuna laga dia…saare dost isko loot te hai (According to her, her ex-husband swindled Rs 50 lakh out of her in two years…even her friends have looted her)…but still, as per her, the best way forward is to now invite a random effin woman to invest because obviously women can do no harm and they can not be bad," the user shared.

The post garnered a range of reactions from social media users, with one saying, “Yeh influencers kitna bheek mangege. Inko sharam aati hai ya nahi?"
Another added, “To the woman even remotely considering this maniacal offer, RUN!!!!!! The scams just keep getting bigger."
“The financial dumbness here is off the charts. You’re basically inviting a potential serial killer to co-own a house with you. Oh, wait, she’s a little cuckoo herself, so maybe they’ll actually vibe," mentioned a different user.
Someone else asked, “Are these people really that dumb, or do they think other people are. The more I know about them more I think they are stupid."
Others advised the influencer to buy an apartment of her own under a budget rather than sharing it with a stranger from the Internet.
