RIIZE talk about former member Seunghan for the first time since his departure
It has already been a year since Seunghan officially left the group and started his journey as a solo artist. Since then, none of the members of the group have shared their thoughts and opinions about the idol or his return to the K-pop world as a solo artist.
Recently, however, they sat down for an interview with People while on their tour in America, and shared their thoughts on the former member becoming a solo artist.Anton shared that he is truly proud of Seunghan. He shared that the group “were glad to see that he’s doing well for himself. Since we still had things that we had to get done, it gave us an opportunity to bond even more and work together even more. We got through those tough times, and we’re here now.”
while Shotaro added that, “We do bump into each other at the company, but we just support each other. We greet each other warmly.

Fan reactions
Fans have been on edge since the idol left the group, and were not sure of how to support or respond to him. Now, as the group has finally mentioned Seunghan after more than a year, fans are sharing their reaction online, however, most of them are mixed about the situation. Many even called the group out for talking about the soloist out of nowhere as well. One fan commented that, “didnt even dare to mention his name for over a year when he was officially still a member didnt defend him even after he left he was the first to mention them and wish them well but still got trashed by their fans... and now you tell me they suddenly want to mention him ?” while another shared, “hearing “we became closer after he left” just feels unfair…like it completely ignores what sh went through to protect their image.
It’s like they’re turning his pain into a storyline for growth when it should’ve been about protecting and standing by him when it mattered.”Many even shared that the sudden mention was unfair to everyone, and that they could have said something around the time that the idol was facing a lot of criticism.
