Actress and model Rozlyn Khan, also known as Rehana Khan, has become a victim of Aadhaar card fraud. Someone allegedly used her Aadhaar details to purchase a mobile phone on loan in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, leaving her to deal with recovery agents demanding payment.Rozlyn, who recently recovered from stage four metastatic cancer, said she and her sister have been receiving persistent calls from agents claiming the transaction was made with her Aadhaar and an OTP. She denied the allegation, stating, “I live in Mumbai, so why would I go to Uttar Pradesh to buy a mobile phone?”The actress also expressed her frustration over the harassment, especially while traveling for work. Sharing screenshots of the alleged communication on social media, she wrote, “The Aadhaar card is mine, the phone is in Moradabad, but the EMI has to be paid by me… guess this is what they call Digital India.”In another post, she highlighted inconsistencies in the bank’s claim, saying, “They are alleging I shared my Aadhaar card details so my husband could buy the mobile. I have been working in the industry for years, and everyone knows that I am not married. Now Aadhaar is enough for marriage, divorce, and EMI. Who needs consent when you have a photocopy?”Currently in Patna for a professional meeting, she said she plans to file an FIR after returning to Mumbai. “I don’t know how that person got my Aadhaar details, but I am more scared about what else my data has been used for,” she said, raising concerns over the security of personal documents. On the work front, Rozlyn is looking to make a comeback soon. “I am meeting a lot of people after recovery and hope to be back with a good project,” she shared.
