The RPF band of Patna is enchanting the city with the stirring notes of 'Vande Mataram' at five prominent locations until January 29th. This musical tribute, dedicated to Republic Day festivities, seeks to inspire a sense of unity and pride among the community.
Patna: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) band has been tasked with performing the patriotic tune Vande Mataram at five prominent locations across Patna. The special musical programme, which began on Wednesday, will continue till Jan 29.According to Danapur senior divisional commercial manager (DCM) Abhinav Siddarth, the RPF band will perform at Patna Junction, Patliputra Junction, Buddha Smriti Park, Shaheed Smarak and the Bihar Museum. The initiative aims to spread the spirit of patriotism and promote the ideals of the Constitution among citizens, he said.The programme is also designed to connect with people at busy public spaces and cultural landmarks, allowing a wider audience to experience the patriotic rendition.
Commuters, visitors and residents are expected to gather at these locations to witness the performances, he added.The senior DCM said the initiative is part of the Republic Day celebrations being observed across the state, with security forces and civic bodies organising events to mark the national occasion with enthusiasm and respect.Meanwhile, the railways deployed adequate RPF personnel and ticket-checking staff at Buxar, Ara, Jehanabad, Nawada and Sheikhpura stations in view of the Bihar Police examinations held on Wednesday. Three special trains—Danapur–Buxar, Buxar–Danapur and Patna–Gaya—were also pressed into service to manage the crowd of examinees, he said.
