Rs 50 lakh insurance, pension for panchayat members: Tejashwi Yadav's poll promise

Ahead of the Bihar Assembly polls, the Chief Ministerial face of the Mahagatbandhan, Tejashwi Yadav, announced Rs 50 lakh insurance cover and pension scheme for panchayat representatives if the INDIA bloc comes to power. In addition to this, the Rashtriya Janata Dal chief noted that the allowances for the panchayat members would also be doubled.
