RSS Telangana, gurudwaras to hold seminar on Guru Tegh Bahadur 350th martrydom on Sunday

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Telangana, in collaboration with all gurudwaras in the State, will host a special seminar and meeting in Hyderabad on December 14 to mark the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru.

The event, to be organised in Grand Lawns in Jal Vihar on Necklace Road from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., will commemorate the sacrifices of the Guru and those of Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das and Bhai Dayala.

Organisers said the programme will feature an exhibition on Sikh history, sacrifice and heritage, followed by recitation of holy hymns and sermons by prominent Sikh musical groups and scholars. The evening will conclude with ‘Guru ka Langar, (also known as the community kitchen).

Gurcharan Singh Bagga, chairman of the Central Committee of Gurudwara Saheban, Telangana, said the programme aims to promote unity and mutual respect across communities while sharing Guru’s message of courage, justice and compassion.
