The war drama is set in the rugged terrain of Ladakh. Due to this it requires high-altitude shoots and complex action choreography. These conditions demand more time and precision.Reportedly, 'Battle of Galwan' is a war film mounted on a big scale. Shooting in Ladakh is already demanding along with action set-pieces. Reportedly, the team doesn't want to rush the shoot or post-production just to meet an early deadline.

Bakri Eid Likely, Independence Day a Backup

The makers are now eyeing Bakri Eid 2026, which falls on May 27. If post-production is delayed further, the Independence Day weekend in August is being considered as a fallback. Informal discussions have already begun with exhibitors to block potential release windows. Interestingly, Kartik Aaryan’s Naagzilla had originally claimed the Bakri Eid slot but has yet to go into production.

Star Cast Update: Chitrangda Singh Joins the Line-Up

Actress Chitrangda Singh has joined the cast, raising anticipation even further.
