Congratulations are in order for actress Saoirse Ronan and her actor husband, Jack Lowden. The couple have welcomed their first child together, news reports confirm. The actress, who managed to keep her pregnancy under wraps for months, was spotted only recently with a baby bump.

According to the latest photos on The Sun, the actress and her hubby could be seen spending a sunny day out in London while pushing a pram.

The photos thus seem to confirm the arrival of the couple's first child.

The photos showed the new mom walking with her arm around her man as they shared some affectionate moments together while on a leisurely stroll around the area. Ronan’s pregnancy was revealed in May when she debuted her baby bump at the Paris Fashion Week.

The news was later confirmed by multiple outlets. Sources close to the pair shared that they were “thrilled” to be starting a family together. The news of the pregnancy and baby's arrival comes less than a year after the couple wed in an intimate ceremony in Edinburgh.

The baby’s arrival has reportedly impacted production on Lowden’s latest project, a new adaptation of 'Pride and Prejudice', in which he plays Mr Darcy.

According to the Daily Mail, a source from the set told reporters that the cast and crew are all excited for Jack embracing fatherhood. "Nobody would ever have an issue with him taking paternity leave."As far as production schedules are concerned, "producers have used stand-ins for Mr Darcy so filming could continue without disruption."Ronan and Lowden first met while working on the 2018 historical drama Mary Queen of Scots, where she starred as Mary Stuart and he portrayed her husband, Lord Darnley. She opened up in an interview saying, “I became successful when I was quite young… it meant that by the time I found my partner, I was at the stage where if it happened, I would like to have a kid.
