Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking in Gandhinagar today, asserted that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of India’s integration, had a clear and resolute stance on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Sardar Patel believed military action should not cease until PoK was reclaimed by India, but his counsel was ultimately disregarded.

“Sardar Patel wanted PoK to be returned and till then attack should not stop," PM Modi stated, adding the significant claim that “he was disregarded."
