Sarvesh Singh appointed as Telangana Life Sciences Director & CEO

The State government has appointed Sarvesh Singh as the Telangana Life Sciences Director and CEO.

Congratulating Mr. Singh, IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu urged him to utilise his 22 years of experience in the pharma and Life Sciences sectors to build a strong ecosystem in the State. Mr. Singh called on the Minister at the Secretariat on Monday after assuming charge.

Telangana, which holds a leading position in the country in the Life Sciences and biotechnology sectors, is moving ahead with even greater speed in innovation. One-third of the vaccines supplied to the world are exported from Telangana. Hyderabad has emerged as the global vaccine capital and Telangana ranks number one in the country in pharmaceutical exports, Mr. Sridhar Babu said.

By expanding Genome Valley and strengthening infrastructure, the State government is opening doors for the establishment of new projects in the Life Sciences sector, the Minister’s office said in a release.
