Veteran actor Satish Shah, best known for playing Indravadhan in the iconic TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, passed away on October 25 at the age of 74 due to kidney failure. He breathed his last at his home in Bandra East in the afternoon.

Satish Shah, who was also seen in popular films like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron and Main Hoon Na, will be cremated today at Pawan Hans cremation ground. , Panesh Ganatra arrived at his home to attend his last rites. Rupali was seen getting emotional and covered her face when photographers tried to capture her crying.

Sumeet also looked very emotional as he reached Satish Shah's house to bid his final goodbye to his favourite co-star.All the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actors are very close to each other and share an extremely close bond. They often met each other on special occasions and enjoyed each other's company. The Sarabhai vs Sarabhai cast was also very close to Satish Shah's wife, Madhu Shah.Recently, Sumeet paid an emotional tribute to his late co-star Satish Shah on his social media account.

Taking to social media, Sumeet posted a heartfelt video where he remembered Satish Shah not just as a colleague but as a father figure.He began, “In 2004, we started a show and after 70 episodes we stopped shooting because that didn’t work. And after 21 years that show became the heartbeat of all people. That show is Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. People have started to identify our characters. They think of their family members as Sahil, Rosesh, or Monisha.

But no one has said ye hamare ghar ke Indravadan hai. There’s only one Indravadan and that is Satish Shah.

He left all of us.”Reflecting on their years of camaraderie, Sumeet shared how their off-screen bond mirrored their on-screen chemistry. “The more this show has gotten popular, our bond has also become stronger. Whenever we would meet, we would be in our on-screen characters. We would call them mom and dad. Today, Sarabhai’s most senior person has left all of us for heavenly abode. He was suffering for quite some time. Life can be cruel at times,” he said emotionally.
