, a Bharat Semi company, Kaynes Semicon Private Limited, India’s first advanced OSAT and module manufacturer, and SPARSHIQ have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) along with consortium partners SENSESEMI Technologies, Focally, and NXP. The collaboration is aimed to accelerate the development and deployment of India’s semiconductor and vision-system capabilities at scale.The MoU marks a step forward in the consortium’s ongoing efforts to build a trusted and fully indigenous value chain for advanced automotive and mobility technologies. Vrinda Kapoor, CEO & Co-founder, 3rdiTech and Vinayak Dalmia, Chief Business Officer & Co-founder were present at the MoU signing ceremony, which took place in the presence of Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Cabinet Minister of Electronics and Information Technology.The collaboration underlines the collective commitment of Indian innovators and global partners to reducing dependence on imports, fostering confidence among Indian OEMs, and positioning India as a credible hub for high-performance, safety-critical, and export-grade electronics solutions. The companies highlighted that this step is not only about creating a localized product but about building long-term resilience, self-reliance, and competitiveness in the semiconductor ecosystem.
