Seven caught gambling, ₹15,000 recovered

The Anantapur police on Friday (December 12, 2025) caught seven persons red-handed while gambling at a secluded place and recovered ₹15,050. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police P. Jagadeesh, the Rayadurgam police used drones to keep a tab on anti-social activities on the outskirts of Chadamgolleladoddi village and found seven persons playing cards in a remote area. Police caught them and registered a case under Section 9 (1) of AP Gaming Act.
