Seven districts log above 45°C in Telangana on April 30

Mercury levels in Telangana continued to be high as seven districts recorded maximum temperatures over 45°C on Thursday (May 1, 2026). The maximum temperature in all 33 districts was above 42°C. 

The highest of 45.9°C in Pedapalli was followed by 45.8°C in Nalgonda and 45.4°C in Jagtial, 45.3°C in Adilabad and Nirmal, 45.2°C in Karimnagar and Siddipet. The maximum temperature in Rangareddy was 43.6°C, and 42.5°C in Hyderabad and Medchal, according to Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather report.
