Shark Tank India’s Namita Thapar recently gave her fans a glimpse into her luxurious wardrobe while sharing some exciting updates about a jewellery brand she invested in. Taking to social media, Namita shared a picture wearing a stunning pair of earrings and a bracelet from Palmonas, a brand she backed during Shark Tank India Season 4.Namita wrote, "Pallavi came home & helped me arrange her gorgeous jewellery in my closet. I am wearing her earrings & bracelet in this pic. She & Amol from @palmonas_official (Season 4) are fabulous founders! When they pitched at Season 4, they were at a MRR of 3 cr & they have grown 5X since then, with 20% EBITDA!!! They have 25 stores & will use their recent fundraise to expand their offline presence in India as well as globally.
In addition to their demi-fine jewellery, their newly launched range with 9Kt gold & lab-grown diamonds is doing extremely well. Shraddha Kapoor is their investor & brand ambassador. I love their designs & it truly lives up to its vision of 'everyday luxury for modern Indian women.' So proud of Pallavi & Amol!!"
For those who missed the episode, Namita was visibly impressed with Pallavi and Dr. Amol’s pitch during the show. She initially offered Rs.1.26 crore at 1% equity along with a 1% royalty on sales until recouped.
After negotiations, she reduced the royalty to 0.5%, but the founders stood firm, refusing to give royalty. Kunal advised Namita to let go of the royalty to close the deal. In the end, Namita skillfully negotiated, sealing the deal to everyone’s amazement.
Aman Gupta even praised her tactics, calling her the “Asli Shark.”Recalling their Shark Tank journey, Pallavi shared, "Being on Shark Tank India 4 was an unforgettable experience.
We're thrilled to present our unique jewellery pieces and share our vision with the sharks. We believe our designs have the power to disrupt the industry and leave a lasting impact."With 25 stores already running successfully and a clear vision for global expansion, Palmonas continues to shine bright, much like the jewellery it creates. Namita’s pride in the brand reflects not just her investment, but also her belief in empowering modern Indian women through innovative entrepreneurship.
