Veteran actor Sudhir Dalvi, best remembered for his divine portrayal of Lord Sai Baba in Manoj Kumar’s 1977 classic film Shirdi Ke Saibaba, has been hospitalised at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai since October 8, 2025.

The 86-year-old actor, known for his calm screen presence and expressions, is currently fighting severe sepsis, a life-threatening infection that requires intensive medical care.According to reports, Dalvi’s medical expenses have already crossed Rs 10 lakh, and his family is struggling to manage the rising costs. Doctors estimate that the total cost of his treatment could reach Rs 15 lakh. His loved ones have now appealed to fans and members of the film fraternity to come forward and extend financial support.As per a report by Movie Talkies, Sudhir Dalvi continues to be under close medical supervision, with his condition being treated as critical.
