Shooting of a film based on Vanajeevi Ramaiah’s life to commence in Khammam district on Nov. 21

The shooting of a film based on the illustrious life of veteran green crusader and Padma Shri awardee late Vanajeevi Ramaiah is slated to begin at Ballepalli in Khammam district on November 21, 2025.

The director of the upcoming film, Vemuganti, and music director, Ballepalli Mohan, met Khammam MP R. Raghuram Reddy at his residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday, a press note from the MP’s camp office in Khammam said.

They invited the MP for the inaugural ceremony of the film shooting.

Mr. Raghuram Reddy recalled Vanajeevi Ramaiah’s tireless efforts in planting and nurturing lakhs of saplings thereby making invaluable contributions to increase green cover.
