PUDUCHERRY: Distribution of enumeration forms for electoral rolls in the Union territory of Puducherry reached 92.5% as of Tuesday as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise by the Election Commission of India (ECI), said chief electoral officer P Jawahar in a release.Booth-level officers (BLOs) will make at least three visits to distribute the enumeration forms to the rest of the electors. Now, the election machinery has started the process of collecting back the filled-in enumeration forms while simultaneously distributing the enumeration forms to those electors who are yet to receive them.Jawahar said the public could reach their BLOs through the ‘Book-a-call-with-BLO’ feature on the ECINET app or through the toll-free number 1950.
Voters can visit www.ceopuducherry.gov.in to get the contact details of EROs, AEROs and BLOs.Jawahar said the BLOs would be the trusted guide of the electors and they would provide all necessary support during the SIR process. He requested the electors to cooperate with the BLOs in filling up the forms. Voters who are yet to receive their enumeration forms can apply online through the ECINET mobile app or web portal www.voters.eci.gov.in.
