The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday (December 11, 2025) extended the schedule for Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in six States and Union Territories.

The draft electoral rolls will now be published on December 19, 2025, for Tamil Nadu and Gujarat; on December 23, 2025, for Andaman and Nicobar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh; and on December 31, 2025, for Uttar Pradesh, according to the revised schedule.

However, no change in the schedule for West Bengal has been announced.

The last date for submitting the enumeration form is now December 14, 2025, for Tamil Nadu and Gujarat; December 18, 2025, for Andaman and Nicobar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh; and December 26, 2025, for Uttar Pradesh.

“The schedule for Kerala was revised earlier and the Enumeration Period for the State of Kerala would be 18.12.2025 and the draft Electoral Roll will be published on 23.12.2025,” the ECI said.

In Goa, Gujarat, Lakshadweep, Rajasthan and West Bengal, the last date for submitting enumeration forms end on Thursday (December 11, 2025) and the draft electoral rolls will be published on December 23, 2025.
