'Sirai' OTT release: Here's when and where you can watch the Vikram Prabhu film

Vikram Prabhu's 25th film 'Sirai,' which released last Christmas, is gaining popularity again as it gears up for an OTT release. A crime drama directed by debutant Suresh Rajakumari, the film has LK Akshay Kumar making his acting debut alongside Vikram Prabhu.

Anishma Anilkumar and Anantha also play prominent roles in the film. 'Sirai' was well-received upon its release, commended for both its plot and performances.

There is no need for movie enthusiasts to fret because, according to their notice, the 'Sirai' movie will start streaming on ZEE5 from January 23rd. The movie is now available for post-theatrical streaming, making it accessible to new audiences after its four-week theatrical premiere.

LK Akshay Kumar, the son of producer SS Lalit Kumar, plays the leading role in the movie, while Anishma Anilkumar plays his love interest with Anantha taking on the role opposite Vikram Prabhu.

Directorial debut

'Sirai' marks Suresh Rajakumari’s directorial debut, though he previously worked as an associate of acclaimed filmmaker Vetri Maaran.

The story is written by Tamizh, known for Taanakkaran, and the screenplay is co-written by Suresh with the director. Technical department work is managed by a talented team consisting of Justin Prabhakaran for music, Madesh Manickam for cinematography, and Philomin Raj for editing.

Prabhu has done the action choreography, all contributing to the film’s technical quality.

Real-life based movie 'Sirai' is a story of an escort cop’s involvement in the investigative interrogation of a young man Abdul for a murder case.
