Sonam Kapoor gives the Banarasi saree a 'Boss Lady' twist!

While other Bollywood wives stick to the usual traditional dupatta and saree pallu for Karwa Chauth, Sonam Kapoor chose to put a boss-girl twist on the celebration, perfectly blending heritage, culture, and craftsmanship.

For her festive look, the diva reimagined traditional dressing, pairing couture elegance with contemporary fierceness.She walked in and lit up the room in a stylish Ekaya Banaras saree, handwoven using the kadhwa Banarasi technique and crafted from satin silk. But if you think she paired it with a conventional blouse, think again.

Sonam opted for a cheongsam-inspired collared blouse, celebrating the brand’s philosophy of merging India’s rich handwoven heritage with modern design language.

Ditching the usual saree pallu drape, she styled it like an off-shoulder gown, cinched and knotted just below the bust. She carried a Tribe Amrapali bag that added a hint of antiquity and spiced up the look with studded Fizzy Goblet juttis, handcrafted in India.

Adorned with oxidised silver and brown beads over aari jaali work, the artisanal details were alluring and immediately drew attention.Styling her hair in a sleek bun, she allowed the dramatic neckline to take centre stage.
