Veteran Malayalam actor Sreenivasan has passed away, leaving a void in Indian cinema. Superstar Rajinikanth fondly remembered his film institute days with Sreenivasan, calling him a "better human being." Rajinikanth recalls his film institute days with Sreenivasan

Rajinikanth shared his tribute through a voice message. Rajinikanth says,'This news is a big shock to me. Sreenivasan is my good friend. He and I studied together at the Cinema Institute. He was a great actor. An even better human being. May his soul rest in peace.' Rajinikanth also said that Sreenivasan’s memories will live via his films.

Sreenivasan’s lasting contribution

Sreenivasan began his journey in Malayalam cinema in the 1970s and stayed in the film industry for more than fifty years.

Acting in over 200 films, he won the hearts of fans with his acting and humor. Sreenivasan wrote stories and dialogues for films such as ‘Boing Boing’, ‘Sandesam’, and ‘Natodikkattu’. Sreenivasan spoke about social issues through his film in a solid way and with humor.

Sreenivasan leaves a legacy behind

Sreenivasan is known among Tamil fans through his role in 'Lesa Lesa'. His comedy scenes in the film along with Vivek will ever be memorable to Kollywood fans.
