Srisailam temple management enforces strict rules

Srisailam temple management on Sunday (December 21, 2025) announced that shooting reels, videos, and flying drones without permission in the temple town is prohibited and action will be taken against those who violate the rules.

In a statement, temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao said that any kind of propagation of other religions, distributing pamphlets or books of other religions, and wearing or exhibiting symbols of other religions in the temple town is prohibited as per rules.

Similarly, flying drones or recording reels for circulating the same on social media without prior permission is also prohibited in the temple and its surroundings including Mada streets, sub-temples, Patalaganga, Panchamatams, Shikareswaram, Hatakeswaram, Paladhara - Panchadhara, Sakshi Ganapati temple and others, he added.

Consumption of alcohol or non-vegetarian food, or smoking and gambling, or indulging in any other anti-social activities in the temple precincts is also an offence and action will be taken against the violators, he said.
