The SSLC examinations will be held from March 5 to 30 and the Plus Two higher secondary and vocational higher secondary examinations from March 6 to 28, Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty has said.
Announcing the public examination schedule at a press conference here on Wednesday, the Minister said 4.25 lakh students would appear for the SSLC examinations.
IT exams
The IT model examinations will be held from January 12 to 22, and the SSLC IT examinations from February 2 to 13.
The SSLC model examinations will be held from February 16 to 20.
The SSLC examinations would begin at 9.30 a.m. Nearly 3,000 centres, including seven in the Gulf region and nine in Lakshadweep, are being readied for the examinations.
Applications and examination fee can be remitted without fine from November 12 to 19, and with fine from November 21 to 26.
Revaluation
Revaluation of SSLC answer scripts will be held from April 7 to 25.
The exam results are expected to be announced on May 8.
HSS/VHSE
The Plus One higher secondary examinations will be held from March 5 to 27.
While the Plus One examinations will begin at 1.30 p.m., the Plus Two examinations will be held at 9.30 a.m.
On Friday, the examinations will begin at 9.15 a.m. and end at 12 noon.
As many as 125 students who have registered for Additional Mathematics through SCOLE-Kerala will appear for the Plus One examinations on March 27 in two sessions – one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
Practical examinations of the Plus Two students will begin on January 22.
Model examinations for both Plus One and Plus Two students will be held from February 16 to 26.
The last date for remitting the exam fee without fine is November 7.
Nearly nine lakh students will appear for the Plus One and the Plus Two examinations. There will be around 2,000 examination centres, including the Gulf region and Lakshadweep.
Revaluation
Revaluation of answer scripts will begin on April 6. The results are expected to be declared on May 22.
In the VHSE category, 26,822 students will appeared for the Plus One exams in the regular category and 26,826 students in the Plus Two examinations.
Skill evaluation for Plus Two will be completed in January, while that for Plus One will begin in the last week of that month, the Minister said.
The examination notification will likely be issued on Thursday. Detailed timetable will be included in the notification, officials said.
Examinations for classes I to IX will be held along with the SSLC and higher secondary examinations.
In high school (HS)-attached lower primary (LP) section examinations will be held from March 12 to 26, while in HS-attached upper primary sections the examinations will be held from March 6 to 27.
In standalone LP and UP schools, special question papers will be prepared and examinations held from March 18.
