State-level launch of Women’s Safety Division on November 4

The State-level launch of the Women’s Safety Division under the Women’s Cell of Kerala police will be held at the Majestic auditorium in Kozhikode on November 4. State Police Chief Ravada Chandrasekhar will announce the launch of the new initiative aimed at preventing crimes against women and extending speedy justice to the survivors. A meeting to discuss ‘Domestic violence and women’ will also be organised on the occasion. Deputy Inspector General of Police (Social Policing Division) Ajitha Begum will preside over the inaugural event. 

Additional Director General of Police S. Sreejith will deliver the keynote address. Inspector General of Police (North Zone) Rajpal Meena, District Police Chief T. Narayanan, Deputy Commissioner of Police Arun K. Pavithran and Additional Superintendent of Police P. Biju Raj will also address the event.
