Lily Collins and her recent appearance-turned-controversy
Collins struck a pose in front of cameras and fans in her dazzling outfit of a white sequined pencil-shaped skirt and a halter top from the 2025 fall collection of the luxury brand. While some appreciated her maintained physique, others called her out for her slimmer frame, questioning whether she was healthy. Many fans defended the 36-year-old star’s appearance, asking people not to comment about someone else’s body.
What did fans say?
One fan wrote, “lily collins has been very open about her struggle with anorexia, this is probably the most she has ever weighed, she looks healthy.”

A fourth internet user asked netizens to stop being cruel, “lily collins has dealt with an eating disorder so bad that she had to adopt bc she can’t carry children. as someone who’s been hospitalized for EDs, let me just tell u: I CANT GAIN WEIGHT. my body looks fucked up forever bc of my ED and i can’t change that! stop being so cruel!!!”
“lily collins is someone who has spoken very publicly about having recovered from anorexia.
and I don't think she should be doing that,” read another post.
Lily Collins had opened up
In a 2017 Harper’s Bazaar interview, Collins opened up about her struggles with food. “At that time, I was dealing with high school and relationships, and you're very out of control at that stage in your life. How do you feel in control? Well, I controlled how I ate and looked,” she said, adding that she’s been going through the recovery process with the help of daily affirmations.
