Businessman Sanjay Kapur, and ex-husband of actress Karisma Kapoor, breathed his last on Thursday after suffering a heart attack during a polo match. The news of his sudden demise left netizens and film industry insiders in a state of shock.News of his demise broke just hours after Sanjay took to his handle to offer his condolences to the passengers of the Air India flight who died in the tragic accident. Fans also took note of another post that came in just a few days before his passing. Taking to his handle, he tweeted his belief in living with a ‘Why not’ attitude rather than dwelling on ‘What if’.

Another said, “This is so sad to read now that you’re gone."According to reports, Kapur passed away on June 12 while playing polo in the United Kingdom. He was a well-known name in the business world and a familiar face in social circles.

He had a deep connection with sports, especially motorsports and polo, which he actively pursued for years.He was previously married to Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor. Together, they have two children, a daughter, Samaira, and a son, Kiaan.Before marrying Karisma Kapoor, Sunjay was married to fashion designer Nandita Mahtani. Their marriage lasted for two years before they separated in 2003. That same year, he married Karisma. However, their relationship ended in 2014, and their highly publicised divorce was finalized in 2016.In 2017, Sunjay married model Priya Sachdev in a private ceremony, reportedly held in Delhi.
