 ‘Yeh desh humari maa hai’

The teaser for ‘Border 2’ was released on Tuesday, giving fans a first look at the new chapter of the iconic war saga. The short teaser introduces Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Diljit Dosanjh, who are shown serving in different branches of the Indian armed forces.

Sunny Deol praises youth’s love for country

At the teaser launch, Sunny spoke about the younger generation’s love for their country. Deol said, “Yeh desh humari maa hai aur aaj ka youth bhi isse apni maa samajhta hai aur woh iski raksha karega. Jis tarah se unke fathers ne, great fathers ne kiya hai, aaj ka bhi bachcha wohi karega.” (This country is our mother, and today’s youth also considers it their mother and will protect it. Just as their fathers, the great fathers, did, today’s children will do the same.

)He added, “Usko gen Z kaho ya jaise bhi naam de do, lekin hai toh bachcha hi hai.” (You can call them Gen Z or whatever name you like, but they are still children at heart.) Sunny emphasised that, just like previous generations, today’s youth will also rise to protect the nation, proving that patriotism is timeless.

About ‘Border 2’ Teaser

The teaser begins with Deol announcing, “Tum jahan se bhi ghusne ki koshish karoge, aasman se, zameen se, samundar se, samne ek Hindustani fauji khada paoge (No matter which route you try to intrude through, land, sea or water, you will find an Indian soldier there.)”

, and Medha Rana. ‘Border 2’ is set during the 1971 war between India and Pakistan and continues the legacy of bravery, sacrifice, and love for the nation. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is set to release on 23 January 2026.
