Expressing sadness, the idol recently revealed that there have been many times when he has been replaced and removed from different variety shows. During one of the recent episodes of the variety show ‘Radio Star’, Shindong opened up bout how he has been replaced on the show, as well as on another variety TV show called ‘The Great Escape’. He revealed that both times, he was never informed about being removed from the show, and got to know about the change in casting from news articles that ended up on his feed. He said during the show that, “Whether it’s ‘Radio Star’ or ‘Great Escape,’ no one tells me I am no longer a part of the show”. He used to be one of the original members of ‘The Great Escape’; however, after the show’s revival 5 years later, the singer ended up finding out that he was not even invited to be part of the show due to a news piece.
