Supreme Court rebukes Mamata Banerjee over interference in I-PAC raid case

The Supreme Court has criticised the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for interfering in an ongoing Enforcement Directorate investigation related to the I-PAC raid case. During the hearing, the top court observed that a state head walking into the middle of an investigation creates an unprecedented situation that endangers democratic processes. The bench emphasised that the issue should not be framed merely as a dispute between the central and state governments.
