“Tay getting all shy”: Patrick Mahomes’ mother Randi praises Travis Kelce’s fiancée Taylor Swift in so many glowing terms

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, described tight end Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, with glowing terms: “Nice,” “genuine,” “perfect,” “sweet,” “couldn’t not love her!” In a recent video shared by Starcade Media, Randi Martin discussed her desire to treat Swift as normally as she treats her own son–barring the stardom factor.

She explained that her demeanor towards her son hasn’t changed, and she doesn’t plan on changing it for Swift, the billionaire sensational singer. After watching the video, a fan commented, “Tay getting all shy is so 😭🥹,” and shared a throwback clip from Swift’s appearance on the New Heights podcast. In the clip, Swift kisses Kelce, and Jason Kelce reacts with “Oh my gosh!” while Swift shyly chuckles.

Randi Martin shared in the video that after seeing Swift’s involvement with her own family, including her children—Patrick and Brittany —and her grandchildren—Sterling Skye, Bronze, and Golden Raye—she couldn’t stop herself from loving Swift.

“She’s been, you know, a perfect, sweet person that has embraced my family, my children, my grandkids, and so, I mean,” Randi shared. “I couldn’t not love her.”

Treat billionaire pop superstar as ordinarily as anybody

While it’s common to feel awkward around celebrities, Randi Mahomes is now so familiar with Taylor Swift that it may be challenging for her to treat the singer like a superstar instead of a family acquaintance. “She’s very nice, very genuine from what I see and from what I’ve learned and gotten to know,” Randi said.

“And I just knew from Day 1 that I didn’t meet her, and it’s kind of hard for me to look at Patrick because he’s my son, to know that people get excited about meeting him, it’s still like, ‘Okay, you’re still my son.

I don’t look at you that way.’ So, I wanted to be able to treat Taylor or anyone else that came involved just as normal as I would treat or be with anybody. Still, I know I definitely had taught myself that I’m just gonna be the same.
