The Telangana Aarogyasri Network Hospitals Association (TANHA) said that they will withhold their services under the State government’s Aarogyasri Health Scheme, from August 31, 2025 midnight citing eight issues including payment of dues. They had earlier boycotted the services in January, but called off the 10-day long strike after a meeting with Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narsimha.

Vaddiraju Rakesh, president of TANHA said they have been representing key issues which are redrafting of MoU between Aarogyasri Healthcare Trust and the hospitals; revision of packages; regular payments; establishment of redressal mechanism; unilateral issue of circulars without concern and consideration; bifurcation between Aarogyasri and Employee/Journalists Health Scheme; a process of preferential payment to hospital and cancellations or deductions of their amounts. However, the issues remain unresolved.

The association requested the Trust CEO for a meeting with Health Minister and Chief Minister as early as possible to make a personal representation.
