Telangana CM holds meeting with Collectors of districts impacted by Cyclone Montha

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s video conference with senior officials and Collectors of districts impacted by Cyclone Montha, began on Thursday (October 30, 2025) morning. Prior to the Cyclone making a landfall, he directed officials to take measures for procurement of maize, cotton and grains and to ensure farmers do not face any losses. 

During the video conference, the Chief Minister gave directions on the food grains procurement, the repair of damaged roads, alerting locals about water levels in irrigation projects and water bodies and other aspects.

Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and others were present at the meeting.

Extremely heavy rainfall (over 20.44 cm) on Wednesday was recorded in Hanumakonda, Warangal, Siddipet, Karimnagar, Mahabubabad, Karimnagar and Jangaon, according to from Telangana Development Planning Society’s data recorded from Wednesday morning to Thursday 8.30 a.m.
