A total of 19 people died in the lorry-bus accident in Chevella mandal, Rangareddy district, on Monday (November 3, 2025) morning. The deceased includes 13 women, five men, and a two-month-old baby, according to official information from Telangana Health Minister’s office.
Nineteen others are currently undergoing treatment — 14 at Patnam Mahindra Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, three at the Chevella Community Health Centre (CHC), and two at Lalitha Hospital, Chevella.
Officials said 18 of the injured are stable, while one patient with a head injury remains under treatment but is currently out of danger.
Identities of 14 deceased were established. Efforts are underway to identify the remaining five people who died in the accident. Bodies of nine people were handed over to their families, according to an update from Cyberabad Police in the early afternoon.
