Texas Man Scales Mar-a-Lago Wall, Tells Cops He 'Wanted To Marry' Trump's Granddaughter

A 23-year-old man, Anthony Thomas Reyes, was arrested for scaling the wall of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, reportedly intending and marry Kai Trump.

A 23-year-old man, later identified as Anthony Thomas Reyes, was arrested after he hopped the wall around US President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

According to the New York Post, the man, during interrogations, told officers he wanted to “spread the gospel" to Trump and marry his 18-year-old granddaughter, Kai.

Reyes also admitted he scaled the wall surrounding Trump’s Palm Beach property.

The report claimed Reyes had been caught a second time attempting to intrude into Trump’s club, with the first instance reported around New Year’s Eve.

A spokesperson of the White House was quoted as saying that Trump was briefed on the incident and that he was in Washington at the time of the incident.

Mar-a-Lago is a federally protected area, and all guests are subject to security screenings prior to entering the property, which has numerous signs posted warning people not to trespass.

The club was not accepting visitors or guests, and gates guarded by Secret Service personnel were closed at the time Reyes scaled the wall, the report claimed.

Kai Madison Trump is the US President’s eldest granddaughter and turned 18 on May 12.

She is the eldest of the five children of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump. Her four siblings are Donald John III, Tristan Milos, Spencer Frederick and Chloe Sophia.

Kai Trump is a senior at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida.

Last summer, she announced that she plans to attend the University of Miami, committing to join the women’s team.
