Villa took a dig at United following the victory by calling out the United fan who swore off haircuts until the Red Devils manage to register five win on the trot.

Aston Villa beat Manchester United 2-1.
Aston Villa climbed to third in the Premier League table on the back of their 2-1 win over Manchester United at the Villa Park on Sunday as Morgan Rogers’ double rendered Matheus Cunha’s strike for United a mere consolation.
The win proved to be Aston Villa’s 10th triumph on the bounce, and the Birmingham-based unit took a dig at United following the victory by calling out the United fan, ‘The Unitedstrand’, who swore off haircuts until the Red Devils manage to register five win on the trot.
“10 wins in a row," Villa wrote.
“That United fan could’ve had two haircuts," the club added in a cheeky update.
Rogers opened the scoring for the hosts in the 45th minute of the game, but the joy was short-lived as Cunha curled one into the side netting just three minutes later in the first-half added time.
However, Rogers came up clutch yet again in the second passage of the game as he netted his second of the day in the 57th minute of the game as Unai Emery and Co. held on to the goal advantage to see the game out.
Manchester United, who stand seventh in the English top-flight, have amassed 26 points in 17 games thus far this season with seven wins, five draws and as many defeats in the campaign.
The win also marked Villa’s seventh on the bounce in the Premier League, their longest winning run since the 1989–90 season, while the 10h win on the trot, across all competitions, is the club’s first since 1914, marking an incredible turnaround to the season, which they started off slow with just two points in their opening five games. Villa have 36 points to their name at the end of 17 games now as Emery continues o cement his place in Villa folklore.
