The NBA Global Games have always been designed to export American star power, but nobody expected Anthony Black’s poster dunk against the Grizzlies to pack this much punch. Black literally broke Berlin with one brutal poster dunk.

The Grizzlies and Magic initiated the historic night in Germany that will strengthen Europe and NBA’s relationship. With the NBA arriving on German soil, the excitement amongst fans was palpable, and the Orlando Magic's junior just gave everyone another reason to end the night on a high note. He created a moment that will live in Dunk of the Year conversations for the years to come. As the Magic squared off against the Memphis Grizzlies, the atmosphere was already electric.

However, mid-way through the contest, the air in the arena seemed to vanish. Black took a skip-step at the perimeter, saw a narrow lane, and decided to challenge the entire Memphis frontline.

Anthony Black announced his arrival in Berlin with a poster dunk.

The Grizzlies and Magic were equalised at 107-107 in the 4th quarter. At 2:33 on the game clock, Magic’s Paolo Banchero took a defensive rebound, and what followed will dominate the best dunk debates for another decade. After receiving the pass, Anthony Black didn’t just beat one man, he rose over four Grizzlies defenders and dropped in a dunk that sent the entire arena into shock.

Calling the dunk a poster might seem like an understatement.

It was more of a performance of sheer dominance and skill.

When Black was asked post-game, he said, “I didn’t even know it was on four people (defenders). I just saw the rim, saw the help defender. My teammates told me about it back in the huddle. Just being aggressive."Black’s teammate, post-game, Paolo told NBA on Prime, “That was ridiculous. One thing about AB is when you see him running that floor, you gotta get him the ball…I don’t know why all them guys jumped, man.

He not the one you want to jump with coming down the lane.”He went on to add, “I’ve seen him do that before in practice and in games. He’s probably one of the best finishers at the rim in the guard position in the league.”Paolo finished the night as Magic’s lead scorer with 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting 9-16 from the field and 4-8 from the arc. Anthony Black followed with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists with 7 from the field and an unforgettable poster dunk, contributing to Magic’s 118-111 victory over Memphis.
