Sunny Deol, preparing for 'Border 2', revealed a poignant deleted scene where his character addresses fallen soldiers. He spoke to them as if present, promising to care for their families and assuring them of their heavenly peace. Speaking candidly in an interview with podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, the actor Sunny Deol opened up about one of the most emotionally powerful scenes of the film. He shared that the scene was placed right at the end of the film. Talking about the scene he said “There was a scene that didn’t make it to the final cut. It was a lovely scene,” The scene was set at a small temple, with Sunny’s character standing alone in silence.

As he looks back, he notices a firelight glowing from a bunker that had earlier been destroyed in the film. Drawn toward it, he walks over, only to find a haunting yet comforting vision, all his fallen soldiers sitting together around the fire. What followed, Sunny revealed, was a deeply moving monologue. In the scene, his character speaks to the soldiers as though they are still present, reassuring them that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Sunny explained that the decision was purely practical. The film’s runtime had become too long, and the makers had no choice.Border 2 is directed by Anurag Singh and besides Sunny Deol it features Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty , Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana, Paramvir Cheema and many more.
