Rashmika Mandanna and director Rahul Ravindran are currently working on their upcoming romance drama 'The Girlfriend'. Ahead of the film's release, they have been busy with its promotions. During one of their promotional event, they got a surprise visit from Madanna's 'Pushpa 2' co-star Sreeleela.The moment was captured on camera, which went viral on social media. Sharing the pictures, director Rahul Ravindran wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "This was the best kinda gatecrash. Thank you Leela for dropping by." Rashmika reposted his message and wrote her own sweet caption, "The best kinda gatecrash."

Rashmika and Sreeleela's reunion looks to be filled with laughter, warmth, and smiles. She put on an off-white ethnic suit set, keeping her look elegant and minimal.

Sreeleela, on the other hand, was seen in a blush-pink Anarkali kurta set. Director Rahul Ravindran, also part of the frame, was seen smiling fondly as the two actresses chatted in an animated conversation.

For the unversed, Rashmika and Sreeleela previously shared screen space in the peppy number 'Kissik' from Allu Arjun's blockbuster 'Pushpa 2'.

Speaking about 'The Girlfriend', the movie is a romance drama which revolves around Mandanna's character Bhooma who finds herself in a turbulent and emotionally complex relationship with her boyfriend Vikram, played by Dheekshith Shetty. The film also features Anu Emmanuel, who is also playing a key role as Durga. Bhooma struggles to understand whether her feelings are genuine love or just an illusion, while dealing with her boyfriend's unpredictable behaviour and the presence of another woman.

On the other hand, Sreeleela will be seen next in the upcoming film, 'Mass Jathara', co-starring Ravi Teja. She has multiple films lined up, including two big Bollywood projects.
