The third season of The Great Indian Kapil Show brought together a powerhouse musical lineup with Vishal Dadlani, Sheykhar Ravjiani, Shaan, and Neeti Mohan joining Kapil Sharma and his comedy crew for an episode brimming with timeless tunes, jaw-dropping stories, and trademark stage masti.Sunil Grover, the character chameleon, morphed into “Fulljar Saab,” an uncanny mimicry of Gulzar Saab and Udit Narayan. Krushna Abhishek’s “Dada” shook a leg to Julie Julie with the singers, while Kiku Sharda’s “Jhappi Da” had the set echoing with laughter.Amidst the laughter and melodies, Vishal Dadlani shared a shocking yet hilarious memory from his early days of performing live. He recalled an incident in Ludhiana where he faced a hilarious moment at a wedding show.
“The bride’s father was high on alcohol, and so were many others. Suddenly, he told me, ‘I am going to kill you tonight,’” Vishal revealed, leaving the set stunned.He went on to add, “Later, the same man came on stage and said, ‘You and me, we will kill everybody.’” The absurdity of the situation had Kapil and his gang turning it into a riot of comedy, but the story gave audiences a glimpse into the unpredictable world of live performances.
Taking the episode on an emotional high, the show honoured superfan Simran Sharma, a visually impaired athlete and bronze medallist at the Paris Paralympics, along with her husband and coach Gajendra Singh. Their inspiring journey and words of resilience invoked pride and goosebumps, reminding everyone that laughter and music go hand in hand with courage and spirit.
