TN girl student faints in classroom, dies

COIMBATORE: A Class XII student of Bharathiyar Centenary Government Girls School in Udumalpet in Tirupur district died after fainting in her classroom on Friday evening.The deceased has been identified as M Bhuvaneshwari, 17, of Indra Puthunagar near Amaravathi check dam in Udumalpet.Police said the girl had been staying in the govt social justice hostel. On Friday morning, she felt discomfort and looked tired. She had informed her friends that she had a pain near her heart. After attending morning session classes, she went to the hostel and returned to the classroom after having lunch.She was sitting in the classroom when she fainted. Teachers took her to hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. The body of the girl was handed over to her parents after a postmortem.The Udumalpet police registered a case and began investigations.
