China on Monday acknowledged “shared struggle" with India against air pollution, offering a “bite-sized" series on social media to tackle the growing environmental concern.
The spokesperson for the Chinese embassy in India, Yu Jing shared pictures comparing the air quality in Beijing and New Delhi.
In a post on X, Yu Jing said both the countries are aware of the struggle with air pollution amid rapid urbanisation and, while the challenge remains complex, China has successfully combated severe air pollution over the past decade.
“Both China and India know the struggle with air pollution amid rapid urbanization. While the challenge remains complex, China’s sustained efforts over the past decade have delivered noticeable improvements," Yu wrote in a post on X.

The Chinese spokesperson announced a new social media series, which they said will detail China’s efforts to combat its severe air crisis offering a step-by-step account of its consistent anti-pollution strategies.
“In the coming days, we’ll share a bite-sized series exploring how China tackled air pollution — step by step. Stay tuned for the journey toward clearer skies!" the spokesperson said.
