TOZ disbands, shares official notice after months of silence from the group

K-pop groups have been having a hard time in the industry recently. One such group that came under harsh scrutiny and was unable to make it was TOZ. Fans have been wondering about what happened to the group in the first place since they had all been inactive on their social media accounts for quite some time.

Now, a sudden post from them has left fans and netizens alike shocked.

TOZ announces disbandment

The company took to the group’s official accounts online and shared a devastating notice with the fans. They revealed that while all of the parties involved in the matter had long discussions about the future, a suitable conclusion was not reached. Finally, after long consideration, their management agency shared that all activities regarding TOZ will be suspended moving forward.Their official notice read, “We would like to provide an update regarding the future activities of TOZ. After long and careful discussions about TOZ’s current situation and future, we have mutually agreed to conclude TOZ’s group activities. We sincerely apologize for delivering such sudden news that may cause concern to fans.”They further added their gratitude to all of the members of the group for their passion and for their love of music that led them to live a dedicated life for their dream.

They also asked for the fans' support in the matter, sharing that everyone should continue to provide the members support and love as a new journey begins in their lives.

About TOZ

The group was still rookie and had only debuted in the Korean entertainment industry back in 2023. They were a four-member boy group and made their official debut on May 2, 2024, with their mini album titled ‘To My New Friends.’ TOZ was formed, consisting of former members of the survival variety show titled ‘Boys Planet’ who had failed to make it to the main lineup. The group consisted of Anthonny, Haruto (Hart), Yuto, and Takuto.At the time of its release, the debut album garnered a lot of praise for the group and helped them establish their name in the industry.
