Traffic diversions in Jeedimetla as steel bridge construction begins

In view of the ongoing steel bridge construction work on Pipe Line Road, the Cyberabad traffic police announced a series of traffic restrictions and diversions in Jeedimetla from November 3.

According to the advisory, congestion is expected on key stretches including Sai Kanta to Subash Nagar–Suchitra and the Mayuri Bar–Jeedimetla road route.

Motorists travelling from Gajularamaram, Shapur Nagar and Rangabhujanga towards Suchitra will be diverted at Sai Kanta junction to Ayodhya Nagar Junction via Quthbullapur. Those heading towards Kompally will be re-routed from Sai Kanta Junction through Subash Nagar and Dulapally Industrial Area to reach Kompally.

Similarly, commuters moving from Mayuri Bar towards Jeedimetla Road are advised to take alternative routes via Subash Nagar bus stop or ILA. Commuters travelling from Indriya Jewellers lane and Old Deewan Dhaba road are urged to use Suchitra road or Dhoolapally village road to reach Jeedimetla.

The police have announced that Pipe Line Road will remain closed to heavy vehicles from the Home Lane shop near Pista House, and the section near Mayuri Bar T-junction, approximately 200 metres from the bridge site, will also be fully closed. Entry of heavy vehicles from Godavari Homes and the adjoining routes towards Jeedimetla has been restricted between 5 a.m. and 11.50 p.m. daily.

Commuters have been advised to follow traffic signboards, heed instructions from personnel on duty, and plan their journey in advance to avoid delays.
