On paper, it looks like an impressive feat of multitasking. An assessor appointed under India’s flagship skilling programme is shown inspecting training centres in three different districts, across two states, on the same day.

The digital record appears flawless: photographs uploaded, attendance marked, inspection logs completed, and payments released. What is missing is not documentation, but plausibility.
