Agartala: Tripura chief minister Manik Saha on Sunday reaffirmed the crucial role of ‘prishtha pramukhs’ (page observers of the electoral roll) as the foundation of BJP’s consistent electoral success across the country.While addressing the conference of ‘prishtha pramukhs’ in Mohanpur of West Tripura, Saha expressed his appreciation for the dedicated and diligent work of the ‘prishtha pramukhs’, whom he referred to as silent warriors.He acknowledged their essential contribution, emphasising that the party’s achievements rely on their unwavering commitment, discipline, and tireless efforts at the grassroots level. The conference, under the leadership of agriculture minister and local MLA Ratan Lal Nath, brought together active participation from all 56 booths in the Mohanpur Assembly constituency.A total of 1,120 page observers, along with booth committee members and representatives from various party wings, attended the event. Saha expressed confidence in BJP’s robust organisational structure, stating that with the steadfast commitment and support of pramukhs, the party is poised to secure a significant victory in the upcoming ADC elections and future polls.He emphasised that ‘prishtha pramukhs’ are the lifeline of the organisation, maintaining close connections with people and effectively communicating the party’s vision at the grassroots level.
Saha also highlighted the party’s recognition of their role as the foundation of BJP, particularly in the state, where they serve as a crucial link.Nath highlighted the substantial turnout and energetic involvement of grassroots workers at the conference as evidence of the party’s preparedness for upcoming electoral battles. He underlined the well-orchestrated structure and collective determination of BJP.The conference also attracted the presence of former chief minister and Lok Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb, Tripura BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, and several senior state-level leaders.
