TVS Motor Company has officially entered the adventure touring segment with the launch of the Apache RTX 300. The model has been priced from Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom. It will be available in three trims: Base, Top, and Built-To-Order (BTO), with prices going up to Rs 2.29 lakh.
The bookings have already commenced and deliveries are slated to begin from November 15.
TVS Apache RTX 300: Key details
In terms of design, the TVS Apache RTX 300 has a muscular yet proportionate stance featuring sharp rally-inspired lines, and twin-beam LED headlamps with angular DRLs. There’s a tall windscreen, besides a semi-faired bodywork and sculpted tank stepped seat. Other highlights include a high-mounted exhaust, and red ‘RTX’ accents in the front and rear bodywork.

The Apache RTX 300 debuts TVS’ new RT-XD4 engine, which was first showcased at the MotoSoul 2024. The company says that it offers better cooling efficiency and refined performance. As for the specs, this is a 299.1 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that pumps out 36 hp and 28.5 Nm of torque. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist-and-slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.
Built around a trellis frame, the RTX gets WP-sourced USD front fork and a monoshock at the rear. The company says that this motorcycle is primarily meant to be used on roads but also has the capability to go beyond tarmac. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both ends, paired with dual-channel ABS. As for the features, you get four riding modes: Urban, Rain, Tour, and Rally. Other highlights include cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, and wheelie mitigation. The top variants feature a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, map mirroring, and Google Maps integration via the TVS SmartXonnect app. The system also supports call and SMS alerts, ride analytics, and even GoPro control.
