Twitch streamer Nina Lin was arrested by the New York Police Department near Madison Square Garden on June 13 after videos showed her climbing onto an Amazon vehicle during celebrations for the New York Knicks’ NBA championship win.
The incident happened as thousands of fans filled the streets around the arena after the Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The victory ended New York’s 53-year wait for an NBA title. Videos from the scene later spread online, showing officers taking Lin into custody while crowds continued celebrating across Manhattan.

Videos shared by FreedomNewsTV and footage from Nina Lin’s own livestream showed the streamer standing on top of what witnesses described as an Amazon vehicle near Madison Square Garden.
The area was packed with Knicks fans following the team’s championship-clinching victory.According to FreedomNewsTV, police had set up barricades around several streets near the arena and were moving crowds away from restricted areas. The measures were put in place as large numbers of fans gathered outside official watch-party zones.
Additional clips shared on social media appeared to show fans chanting “Knicks in 5” around the vehicle before officers stepped in.
